SKIING & RIDING

CROSS COUNTRY
During your stay at Sun Peaks, why not take in some of the breathtaking beauty that our resort has to offer. Explore the back country on over 22 km’s of cross country trails or enjoy 30 km’s of groomed trails.
Full Moon Cross Country Ski to McGillvary Lake outpost cabin under the light of a full moon and the starry sky. A roaring fire awaits you for a wiener roast, dessert and hot chocolate before skiing back to the village.
ICE SKATING
A winter past time for young and old. Bring your skates and come on down to Sun Peaks full sized ice rink. Skate and stick rentals are also available.
SLEIGH RIDES
Come and cozy up on this 30 minute horse drawn sleigh ride that takes you through the village of Sun Peaks and along the snow covered golf course.
SNOWSHOE GOLF
The newest craze at Sun Peaks for all those die hard golfers. Snowshoe golf says it all. Visit the activities guest at the day lodge to rent your snowshoes, your club and golf ball and the course map and you are all set to go.
CAT TRAX GROOMER RIDES
Have you often wondered how the groomers each night work their magic on the slopes? Well now you can experience it first hand. Sun Peaks Resort offers Groomer Rides each night and each trip is 45 minutes long. All riders must be 14 years of age or older and only one per grooming machine.
DOGSLEDDING TOURS
Your choice of either hooking up and running your own team of dogs or taking the casual approach and sitting in the seat. Come and experience the backcountry snow at Sun Peaks.
TUBE PARK
Bring the family out and hit the tube park for a sliding adventure. Please visit the activities desk at the day lodge.
SNOWMOBILING
Come and experience Sun Peak’s backcountry at its finest. Choice of trips for both individuals and families alike. These snow excursions will take you through open meadows and frozen lakes.

SNOWSHOEING
SnowShoeing – The choice is yours. One can either choose to go on a guided snowshoeing tour or rent your snowshoes, grab your map and experience the terrain for yourself. For rentals please visit the adventure centre located in the Village Day Lodge.
